Doron-Tikozky recently established a Branch Office in Luxembourg – Gateway to the European Market.
The Grand Duchy of Luxembourg is a small country located in Western Europe, bordering with Germany, Belgium, and France.
It has about 530,000 inhabitants living in an area of about 2,500 square kilometers. Despite its size, Luxembourg is known as one of the richest countries in the world, ranking fourth in world rankings of GDP per capita, and its unemployment rate is the lowest in Europe. In fact, it is considered one of the most stable economies in the world today.
Luxembourg derives its revenue in part from high-tech, chemicals, and biotechnology, however, finance and banking constitutes its main income. Convenient tax policies led the country to encourage the Financial Services Industry, on which the Luxembourg economy rests, as leader in private banking and business.
Recently more and more Israeli businessmen choose to establish international companies in Luxembourg. Clearly we are experiencing an increase in this activity: Luxembourg benefits from its membership in the European Union, from the BENELUX Union, and from organizing the OECD. These facts, together with its geographical location, Luxembourg provides corporations with an excellent access point into the European market.
Luxembourg’s financial strength comes from trade policies that encourage investors, quality of life, and political stability. These enable it to be a global financial center that provides fertile ground for foreign investment.
These lead to the feasibility of setting up a company in Luxembourg, whose tax policies make for a comfortable business climate that includes tax benefits for holding companies, and tax exemptions and financial incentives for entrepreneurs who set up development centers within its borders. Luxembourg’s taxation authorities also encourage investment eco-friendly businesses.
Luxembourg has invested in excellent communications infrastructure that includes a fiber optic network, advanced road networks, and some of Europe’s most efficient railroads, which create a backbone for one of the world’s largest air transport companies.
The Luxembourg Branch Office is part of Doron-Tikotzky’s international expansion policy, aimed at providing legal services to businesses and companies, regarding International Taxation, Real Estate, and Commercial Law.
